I haven’t ever seen this before, but there is a first time for everything! Demonstrators received an update yesterday that Stampin’ Up! has extended the Free Shipping promotion for one more day. Apparently a lot of people were having issues with the website and couldn’t place their orders. This wasn’t a problem for everyone – I was able to place my order without any hiccups. The problems stem from the tech issues that were all over the news on Friday and extended into the weekend. So it’s not something directly in the control of Stampin’ Up! but they recognized the issues and decided to extend the free shipping deal one more day to hopefully allow more people to take advantage of it.

In the demonstrator Facebook group there was quite a bit of chatter about difficulties placing orders. Sadly, I didn’t glean any tips from people with suggestions on how to get an order placed if you’re having an issue. The general theme is persistence – if you get kicked out, wait a little bit and try again. I hope that the internet elves have taken care of the problems so people will have a better experience today. And for those that missed yesterday because summers are busy- you get an extra day to shop!

The same rules apply as the original promotion; you can read about it here. The really important thing to remember is the minimum purchase amount (before tax & shipping) is $75. If your order is < $150, please apply host code J9423NWF on the checkout page.

As I said, I was able to place an order without issue yesterday. For those who are curious, here’s what I ordered:

Product List

I may take advantage of the extra day and order a Paper Pumpkin pre-paid subscription. I forgot about that option when I was placing my order and since I have an extra day, I think I might order a 6-month subscription. Saving $$ is great! Happy Shopping!
