I created this card ages ago and it has taken me forever to get around to sharing it here. When I first looked at the September – December mini catalog I immediately knew that I wanted to purchase the Gift of Giving stamp set. It has some fantastic images for coloring, and I just knew that I would have fun with it. I shared this card back in August and I had just as much creating that card as I did with this one. Coloring these images take a bit of time, so these aren’t “large batch” cards, but they are great if you want to spend some relaxing time coloring. In fact, in both of them it is the coloring that takes all the time. The rest of the card assembly is pretty simple. So if you stage it and color several images maybe you could create a bunch of them. This stamp set is on the retiring list so if you want it I encourage you to buy it really soon. It will no longer be available after January 3rd, so the time is running out. Please use Host Code CCJHJ3ZU when you check out an order < $150.

I used this older sketch as the inspiration for my card design. The circle focal point is perfect for the cup image in the stamp set. This layout also gave me an opportunity to add small pieces of the pretty (and sadly no longer available) Joy of Christmas patterned paper. This simple layout is very versatile and I’m sure that I’ll revisit it again in the future.
