Stampin’ Up! has been organizing a Day of Service for their employees for a few years now. This year because of the various measures in place to keep people healthy they are doing it differently. And you can join in!
There are actually two different aspects of the Day of Service. The first is that you need to purchase the download of greetings and images for the COVID-19 Giveback initiative. The price is $12, and you will get lots of different images that you can use while making cards. Click on the image above to purchase the download. 100% of the proceeds are donated to organizations that are working to help us all during this pandemic. By default, they are split between these organizations:
- The World Health Organization’s COVID-Solidarity Response Fund
- United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund
However, you can change the option to have all of the $12 go to one or the other. You get to choose! Once you have that download, print the pages so you have these great images for your cardmaking. Images are in black as well as color so you can choose what works best for you.
The second part of the Day of service is crafting fun! On Thursday May 21st at 2:00 pm MT (4:00 Eastern) you can join Sara Douglass (the CEO of Stampin’ Up!) on her Facebook page for a Live event to make cards together. She will be using a cutting guide to prepare pieces of Designer Series Paper to go on a batch of cards. You can download the guide here so you can prep your DSP in advance. You will need card bases, Designer Series Paper, a printed copy of the Share Sunshine PDF Download, embellishments, adhesive, and scissors or a Paper Trimmer. Then you’ll be all ready to make a bunch of cards to send to friends to bring a smile to their day! If you aren’t available at the time for the Live event, the replay will be available at any time after the event on her Facebook page.
Stampin’ Up! is providing the download for all of their employees and giving them time so that they can participate in the event, too! Their purchase of the download for their employees will give $5,820 to these organizations. Isn’t that amazing?!?
