I created this card when I was designing the projects for my Peace & Joy Class-to-Go, and this one didn’t make the cut to get into the final line-up. I do like how this one looks, but I found the mats for the patterned paper strips to be a little too fiddly. It is ok when I’m shaving off paper to get it “just right” for myself, but it doesn’t work well for larger-scale prep. I would feel horrible if I mis-cut the supplies for a class kit, and the closeness of the mat to DSP size makes it far more likely that I would make a mistake. Therefore, I’m sharing this card here for everyone’s inspiration – I hope that you enjoy it.
Now I’ll add a shameless plug for the class – the deadline to sign up is Monday October 19th. Please contact me before then to sign up, payment is required in advance to purchase the supplies for each participant. You can read all of the class details here. If you need to purchase the inks for the class, please consider using order code S9UECUHS when placing your order.
I used this older sketch as the inspiration for my card design. This seemed perfect for the stamps and dies in the bundle and a way to show off some of the pretty papers, too.
