I admit that I partially left the Stampin’ Up! reservation when I designed this card. I created it for a church ministry that delivers Easter baskets to shut-ins. I met with a lovely group of gals yesterday to make up 23 of these pretty cards to go into the baskets in 3 weeks. The stamp set that I used is Stampin’ Up!, as well as the inks and the top cardstock with the details for the cross. I purchased all of the rest at a local craft store – I have to say that the patterned paper really called to me and I had to get coordinating papers.
I used this current sketch as the inspiration for my design. The front circle is replaced by the draped cross on my card, but the rest of the elements are directly represented in my card. I had a good time with this sketch and I’ll likely revisit it in the future.

Beautiful card and wow, that cross is gorgeous! What a wonderful gift of time and creativity for shut ins. I love your colors and that piece of ribbon is a wonderfully creative way to drape your cross in white. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Thank you so much Lee Ann – your kind words have brightened my day.
