I actually had no idea that today is Yanni’s birthday. Every so often when I’m working on a blog post I will search the inter-webz to find famous people that are marking the day so I can have a bit more variety in the title for my posts. It is interesting to be reminded of people that I don’t think of every day. I also discovered that Prince Charles celebrates his birthday today as well. Who knew!
I actually designed this card to be my second swap that I’m bringing to OnStage this weekend. I used this past sketch challenge as the design inspiration for my card, but I didn’t get it all together to participate in the challenge while it was open. For my swaps I really wanted to focus on main catalog products because they will be useful to other demonstrators longer than samples using Holiday catalog items. It’s also nice to get a reminder of some of the great products in the big catalog because they don’t get as much love once we turn our eyes to the special catalogs. I hope my fellow demonstrators enjoy my swaps!
