I know that I shared several cards recently that were candidates for OnStage swap cards. This card is the one that I settled on for “general” swapping. “What is general swapping?” you may be asking. It is really a free-for-all where you can encounter another demonstrator that is swapping and you do an ad-hoc card trade. Lots of people “swap out” on the first day, and others come with so many cards (or plan differently) so they still have cards available later in the event. I made 35 of this card (as card fronts, actually), and that is all that I have for swapping. Other than the general swap that I previously shared, of course. There are some demonstrators that will be swapping 100+ cards; I’ve even read of one gal that has 275. Now that’s nuts!
To design this card I went through my stash of cards that I’ve created in the past. I re-discovered a Valentine’s day card that I had created a couple of years ago, and I knew immediately that I wanted to recreate that design. This card could be used for any special occasion, but the colors of the papers make me think of baby news. So… this would be a perfect card to give to newly expecting or proud new parents.
