Here we are in July, and I’m thinking about snowmen. Things have certainly gotten strange, haven’t they?!? Late last night I was inspired to create little 3×3″ notecards for the participants in my Snowman Season Class-To-Go. Hopefully soon I will be receiving the supplies, and I’ll be able to finish prepping the class materials and get them out to the participants. We may be having some hot days lately, but it is fun to stamp snowmen in July and think cooler thoughts.

It has been quite a while since I made notecards like these, and I had forgotten how fun it can be to create with the small design area in this format. These cards come together super-quick, and it is fun to push my design “muscles” to think small. I hope that the participants enjoy this little extra in their bags!

I was inspired by this current challenge for the colors that I used on the card. The Class-To-Go features Subtles DSP, so it was natural to create my note card featuring one of those colors. And then I remembered this challenge and it was perfect for what I needed! I did add a touch of Pumpkin Pie for the carrot nose on my snowman, but I just couldn’t envision using one of these colors for it. A Smoky Slate carrot would be pretty scary, at least I think so!
