Build your holiday card inventoryTake a break and prep for the Holidays

This posting will hit on the big D-Day (Default Day) that we've all been watching and fearing for weeks now.  There has been much in the media and of course on CSPAN about all the debate and posturing on all sides.  I personally am ready for a break from that; are you?  So, what better way to get our mind off of all of it than preparing for Christmas!

I know – you think I'm absolutely crazy thinking about the Holidays when we've just made it into August.  One of my friends (hi Margot!) sent me an e-mail that thinking about Christmas cards now is just plain wrong.  Ordinarily, I would have to agree with her, but I really want to avoid a last minute frenzy of activity in December.  And I figured that there may be other folks out there that are crazy like me and want to get a head start on building an inventory of handmade Christmas cards that people will LOVE to receive.

The picture doesn't do either of these cards justice – they are quite lovely in person.  The "Noel" card has glitter on the snowflakes and shimmery white paper for the embossed layer for some glitz, and the cherry cobbler card uses Stampin' Up's gold cardstock for the layer with the ribbon, and the phrase is embossed for an added bit of elegance.

I'm calling this class a mini-stamp-a-stack because it is half the size of my usual stamp-a-stack classes.  Class participants will make 4 each of the two cards shown.  We'll be meeting on Saturday August 27th at 1:00 pm in Essex.  Space is limited to 7 participants, so contact me quickly to reserve your spot.  Your seat is guaranteed once I receive your payment of $15 for the class.  The class fee includes all materials, adhesive and envelopes, so your cards are ready when you leave for the day.  You won't want to miss this opportunity to get a head-start on preparing for the Holidays, so contact me today!
