And now for something completely different… The other day I mentioned that I’ve been caught up working on my Mystery Quilt Class homework. A couple of people requested that I share the end result of all my hard work – and here it is! Now, the quilt isn’t totally complete yet, this is the quilt top. It still needs to be quilted and the edges bound before it is totally complete. Lately I have been sending my quilts off to a wonderful local gal that does machine quilting. So, once I have the backing prepared, I will be dropping off everything to her so that she can work her magic. My goal is to have it all done in time to share the completed project at the reunion session in September.
It really is amazing to see the pieces that you’ve created come together in the finished product. I had absolutely no idea what the finished result was going to look like, and I had so much fun on the journey. I have already signed up for the next session that will happen this fall. If you are a Burlington-area quilter, then I encourage you to consider the Mystery Quilt class offered by Yankee Pride. Judy designs these projects herself, and they are quite impressive.
