I know, I know – is she still creating with the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack?!? And yes, I am. There are so many images in a pack that you can create A LOT of projects with it. I keep finding things that inspire me in the pack, so I’m not sure if I’m ready to stop with it yet.

Many of the floral and leafy images in the pack are pretty realistic. There are peonies, roses, daisies and others. This cluster of pink flowers doesn’t remind me of any flowers that I know of. I don’t feel like every image has to be realistic, and I really enjoy the colors used for this clump of flowers. I think of these as more cartoon-ish, and they are a lot of fun. Am I off my nut – do you recognize these flowers?

This old sketch was the inspiration for my card design. Again I focused on a specific element from the Ephemera Pack, and searched for a card design that had a focal point that was sized appropriately. I found this sketch in the archives from Freshly Made Sketches. Doesn’t this sketch seem like it would be great for lots of card creations?

I switched out the circle for a rectangle from the Nested Essentials dies, and used some gorgeous patterned paper for the lower. I pulled out the Shy Shamrock ribbon to add a bit of texture for the horizontal strip instead of using cardstock. I really like how this all came together, and I may use this sketch again in the future.
