I really can’t believe that we are nearing the end of the 2019-21 In Colors! The main catalog is cycling over a month earlier this year, so the oldest In Colors will be retiring on May 3rd. Please keep in mind that soon we’ll be reaching the point where those retiring products will be “available while supplies last”. You may be wondering why I’m nattering on about the older In Colors since my card here doesn’t include any of them. I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the timeline as I share this card that I created to feature one of the 2020-22 In Colors – Misty Moonlight. There is a connection, but it is a little tenuous I admit.
I really love this combination of colors that I used for this card. It’s a lovely blend of neutrals and blues, and I love how they go together so smoothly. I think that this color combination would be especially wonderful for a seaside themed card, or a strongly masculine card. The opportunities are really quite broad with these colors. I loved creating my card with the Best Year bundle because I adore the Best Plaid Builder dies. They really are quite wonderful for creating an interesting background with a lot of texture. It does take a while to pop out all of the small diagonal pieces that you see in the Misty Moonlight layer on my card, but the finished product is SO WORTH IT.Product List
