I think this greeting is perfect for multiple purposes – graduation, retirement, or someone starting out on a new job. I don’t have a recipient in mind right now, so I’ll add it to my stash for future use. You wouldn’t believe how big my stash is!
I created this card to participate in the current challenge on the Fab Friday blog. I really liked this particular sketch, so I knew that I wanted to get a project put together in time. Thankfully I had a little spare time this weekend so I could have some creative time. I really like the images in the Sailing Home stamp set, so I was happy to finally ink up a couple of the stamps. And the dies are fabulous, too!
This was also my first time using the Corrugated embossing folder even though I purchased it months ago from the Holiday catalog. The texture it creates is great, but you have to be careful when applying it to a card to avoid stretching it out in an uneven way. So… I encourage you to try it out because it is cool, but take your time and experiment to get what you want.

Stunning, Andrea! I love your layering of the ribbon and twine, and the coloring on the sailboats is amazing! So buttoned up and perfect! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
