I designed this card for a demonstrator-only swap that I signed up for. This particular swap is highlighting Sale-A-Bration (SAB) stamp sets that will be available on January 3rd. I signed up for the Lots of Lavender stamp set, and decided to use “ancillary” images rather than the big sprig of lavender flowers. The spray of flowers at the top and bottom of the label are created using several stamps from the set. I then looked for sets that I own for a greeting to go in between, and I found this one here that fit perfectly in the space available. So, this card features flower stamps from the SAB flyer, and the rest of the products are from the main catalog. I really like how this came together, and it was nice to go back to the main catalog for some supplies. I find it so easy to get caught up in the “mini” catalogs that I don’t use the main catalog stamps and accessories as much as I should.
I created this card using this sketch that you see here. Thankfully this sketch had an “extended” life span due to the craziness of the holidays, so I was able to plan and create a design in time to participate while it is still active. I think this sketch is really flexible and I can see using it again and again.

Fabulous! The colours are great and work well together. The flowers frame the sentiment beautifully and the strip of Berry Burst is placed perfectly to draw the eye to the words. I love all the textures you’ve used. It’s a stylish card and I really love it.
