A Nice CuppaOn April 10th I participated in a mult-demonstrator stamping event to raise money for the American Cancer Society. We designed 10 different cards that the participants made over the course of several hours. Over 50 gals came and stamped, ate lunch, bought 50/50 raffle tickets, bid on items in a silent auction, and most of all they laughed – alot. I created this card to include as a thank you when I deliver the orders for my customers that came to this great event.

timeless texturesI am in love with the Cups & Kettle Framelit/stamp set bundle from the Occasions catalog. I have used it a few times so far, and I'm really crossing my fingers that it is included in the big catalog when it arrives this summer. I'm so not ready to say good-bye to either the stamps or the Framelits. What I wanted to highlight here though is this cute steam accent that I added using vellum cardstock. You can see one of the clear sequins that I added to the card to give it a little sumthin-sumthin. Also, this closeup shows some of the three different stamps from the Timeless Textures set that I used on this card. I am just swooning over these stamps, and I'm so happy to share that this set will be in the next big catalog – yay!

I'm also rushing to share this card because I created it to participate in another active stamping challenge. This one is a sketch challenge, and you can click on the sketch here to go to the challenge page. I'm so happy that I've finished projects in time for two challenges, but I need to be a bit smarter since the two challenges that I did end on the same day. Actually – what I really need to do is get my butt in gear earlier in the week! But seriously, is that really gonna happen?cheeky
