This was one of the candidate designs that I put together for the Stamp-A-Stack. However, this one didn’t make the “cut” (see what I did there? *grin*) so the participants didn’t see it. This paper reminded me of the days back when my son was in Boy Scouts where we got to take shifts selling Christmas trees as their annual fundraiser. We had many bone-chilling hours and one especially memorable shift where it was in the upper 30’s and raining. Blech! Other than that particular shift, I have fond memories of doing this with him although I’m glad that we’re not doing it any more.

I used this older sketch as the inspiration for my design. I moved the greeting strip so that it worked better with the trees on the card. I did struggle a bit with the placement because I didn’t want to obscure too much of the pretty pattern of the trees at the outdoor seller.
