I’ve been sharing a bunch of cards recently that were part of a package of a variety of projects that I received in a kit this last summer. This card is the last of the set that featured the Petal Garden DSP stack. Back in the summer when I received this, my mind didn’t leap to “Valentine”, but now (given the time of year) that is the first thing that comes to mind given the greeting. I love the color combinations from the DSP stack, and I especially love how this piece looks as the background for the front of this card.
Another element that I love on this card is the stitched circle behind the heart and the greeting. I honestly don’t know what in the world that I did before these Framelits existed. I use them All The Time! The set is perfect because it includes circles, ovals, and squares. And they coordinate perfectly with the layering Framelits of those same shapes. I would definitely encourage anyone to get the Stitched Shapes Framelits because they are an incredibly versatile tool to add to your card making arsenal. If you don’t have them – why the heck not?!?
