I have a very important update to share today. Yesterday, Stampin’ Up!™ shared an announcement regarding Cling stamps. The short update is that they are phasing out the rubber Cling stamps and will be offering photopolymer stamps exclusively with the launch of the next annual catalog in 2026. That’s big – don’t get me wrong, but as I said it is happening over a period of time. It doesn’t affect the Cling stamps that are currently offered.

The news that has immediate effect is that they are phasing out the Stampin’ Write markers. And they have moved all of them into the Last Chance area of the online store. That means that as they sell out, they will no longer be available. The 2025-27 In Color markers are still at a discounted price because they are included in the In Color sale that is happening this month. All of the rest of the markers are not discounted. ALL of the markers will no longer be available once they sell out. I’ve added links below to all of the markers so you can shop for them easily.

There are business reasons that Stampin’ Up! shared with demonstrators when they made the announcement. They have found that the demand for these markers has declined consistently over the last few years as Stampin’ Blends have become more and more popular. And with the change to phase out Cling stamps, there is less reason to offer the markers. The stamp coloring technique works best with the red rubber stamps, and since we won’t have them eventually, there isn’t a reason to still offer the markers. I confess that I’m surprised at the rush to eliminate the markers. It seems to me that they could have eliminated them with the next annual catalog. But I don’t know all of the factors that were weighed in the decision, so I can only guess why they made the decision to phase them out now.

My last words of advice – if you want the markers get them quickly!
