I have been an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since 2005, and I have been having an absolute blast!
I was introduced to the wonderful world of rubber stamping when I attended a workshop hosted by a friend. I honestly didn’t have very high expectations, but I wanted to show my support for the hostess. We created two cards at the workshop, and honestly… the first one didn’t really do it for me. Then we moved onto the second card which was a holiday card. The demonstrator had us heat emboss a silver snowflake on a piece of navy cardstock. That was all it took; I was totally hooked! I signed up for the next stamp camp and the hostess club that the demonstrator was assembling. I signed up to be a demonstrator a year later.
Since I became a demonstrator, I have found that I absolutely love to teach other people the numerous ways that they can be creative with stamps, paper and ink. I thrill at the moments when people look at what they just created and they are so proud of their accomplishment that they can’t wait to show it off to their family and friends.
This has been a really great adventure, and I can’t wait to explore new and exciting ways of papercrafting, and then sharing them with others.
