Prayerful Hydrangea

Way back in June Stampin’ Up!™ offered an online event for demonstrators called Creativity Now. I invited a fellow demo friend to join me for some crafting and visiting and we had a wonderful time. This card is one of the four projects that we made during the event. All of the projects used parts of the Peaceful Garden Suite, and each one is soooo pretty. The suite is part of the September-December mini catalog which mostly features Fall and Christmas themed items. But… there are a few things that are useful throughout the year. This suite is actually a bit of both. There is a “Peace on Earth” sentiment and dies to make doves which are great for Holiday cards. But other images and sentiments are perfect for any time of year. This sentiment for instance is always useful. The little tab that can be pulled out on this card is stamped with “sending love”. Also, the patterned papers (which sadly aren’t currently available) are suitable for any time. As you can tell, I love the versatility of this suite!!!

I typically like to start to make my Christmas/Holiday cards in the summer so that I’m not stuck in a crunch late in the year. This year I’ve been spending spare time on other things and not doing as much crafting, so I have quite a deficit I need to get to work on. I have some friends on my card list that don’t celebrate Christmas, so this suite will be perfect to create a batch of cards featuring the Peace on Earth greeting and dove images. I need to get cracking!
