I purchased the Bauble Blooms bundle a few months ago and I finally got around to inking it up. This two-step stamp and die bundle is beautiful and it is perfect for creating Christmas cards in traditional and non-traditional colors. For my card I decided to go with the non-traditional color scheme. I’m not sure if I’ve ever created Christmas cards in purples and greens before; I have to say that I really like it! In fact, I have another card in the works that is also non-traditional. So stay tuned!

I used some retired products and a non-Stampin’ Up!™ coverplate die on this card along with the current stamp and die bundle. In fact, the Starburst Sequins are on the Last Chance list. If you want them, then you need to order them soon before they are gone forever! The Simply Elegant trim was the perfect complement for the hanger and bow on my ornament. I really love this product, and will continue to use what I have on hand until it is gone. I’m really bummed that such a versatile item isn’t available from Stampin’ Up!™ any more. Hopefully they’ll bring it back again.

This current sketch challenge was the inspiration for my card. It was just the oomph that I needed to pull out the Bauble Blooms bundle and ink it up! I used a diecut from the Traditional Labels dies instead of the square element on my card. I really liked how this shape grounds the ornament and gives enough space for a greeting from the bundle, too.
