I must made a small batch of these cards that I’ll send out this coming Christmas. I used the same cutting instructions that I taught at the 6×6″ OSW class; these cards use the long strip that you get from the 6×6″ piece. I cut a full sheet of this pretty paper using the OSW instructions which is how I got 4 of this design. The other 8 pieces of paper are waiting on my table to be used for another Christmas design that is TBD.

This is the inside of my card. I pulled out a couple of retired Christmas stamps along with the Christmas Greenery stamp which coordinates with the patterned paper. I’m actually finding it quite freeing to pull out retired products and giving them some more creative time. It feels good to be using this old stuff instead of just letting it sit being neglected!

This sketch challenge was the inspiration for my card. I especially appreciated that it worked so well with the OSW pattern that I’ve been using a ton lately. I pulled out a tag die from another manufacturer so I could follow the sketch closely. It’s great to combine products and make something wonderful with them!

In fact, I’m racing the clock to get mine submitted in time for the deadline. So I’m leaving this a shorter post so I can wrap it up in time for the challenge.
