Color me happy!!! I absolutely loved the alcohol markers that Stampin’ Up! offered previously, but sadly there was a design flaw that caused them to pull them from the market. But today I’m so happy to report that they had gone back to the drawing board and worked with a manufacturer to redesign markers to avoid the problems that were encountered the first time around. Everyone will be able to purchase these markers, a new card kit and coordinating stamp set starting on November 1st. The kit and coordinating stamp set will be available while supplies last, so if you want them, don’t dilly-dally in placing your order.

Stampin’ Up! gave demonstrators the opportunity to purchase these markers, the kit and coordinating stamp set (that’s one of the perks of a demonstratorship – you get to purchase stuff earlier). I ordered the full set of the markers and they arrived at my house at the beginning of the week. I’ve only had time this week to open them and use them to make a color guide to store with them. I can say that my very brief exposure left me very pleased; the markers glide beautifully and the shape of the marker in your hand feels really nice. I’m having an especially busy week, but I’m really hoping that I’ll have an opportunity this coming weekend to really get in some quality coloring time. I’ll make sure to share here the project that I create with the markers. FYI – the Specialty Designer Series Paper called Just Add Color will be perfect for trying out these markers. And, that paper pack is one of the papers that are included in the DSP promotion that is running until the end of this month.

And word to the wise… beware when you search for “Adult Coloring Book” online. You can envision what you might see – I’ll just leave it at that.
