This bag is a blast!
I have been a craft-a-holic for my whole life. I started with my hand made obsessions when I was a kid at summer camp making macaroni art. I went through my macramé phase when I was a teenager (yep, I'm that old) and then I was hugely into counted cross stitch in my twenties. Then I discovered quilting and finally stamping. While I was in my quilting phase I amassed quite a stash of fabric (ask any quilter how big their fabric collection is, and you'll likely see them blush). I still feel drawn to the precision of quilting, but I love how quickly a paper craft project is typically completed. Most quilt projects are a commitment! Then I saw several people creating these bags with the Big Shot and the Large Scallop Square die. I was late on the bandwagon, but I finally made one. This one features some fabrics from my stash, but Stampin' Up! has several different coordinated fabric collections that would look beautiful made up into one of these bags.
A fellow demonstrator has shared YouTube videos for making the bag. It is actually split into three parts, so I'll share the link for each of the sections (make sure to open the links in a new tab or new window so you can get back here):
I hope you'll give this a try – I love my little bag!
