some déjà vu
Back in 2010 when Stampin' Up! did the last, big color renovation, they told us that they were planning on switching up the colors a bit every 3-5 years. Well, they just barely announced this morning that it's that time! You can look at the picture to see all of the details, but it's not really a seismic change this time around. We will be saying good bye to some colors that we've known and loved for a while. But almost all of the "new" colors are actually previous In Colors that are coming back (I'm just about beside myself that I'll have Pear Pizzazz back!). Smoky Slate is the only true new color that we're getting in our color arsenal. I just watched a Stampin' Up! video about the color change, and I'm really excited to share that this new color is a beautiful lighter gray. Gray is really "on trend" now, and I will really love having a lighter option for playing. All 7 of the colors that aren't currently available will be available when the new catalog starts on June 1st.
Stampin' Up! has built up some inventory of colors that are going away due to the change, but supply could run out before the end of the current catalog. Once the supply has been depleted, the color will no longer be available. So… if you love some of the colors that are leaving, I suggest that you buy them sooner rather than later. You can purchase them on-line, or contact me to place an order and we'll work it out. Remember – change is tough, but it can also be really exciting. I'm already enthusiastic to see the new make-up of the color families, and I'll be eagerly anticipating getting them back on June 1st.
