At the OnStage event last weekend Stampin’ Up! announced a color revamp. A few years ago the company did a color “refresh”, which apparently is a smaller change than a “revamp” is. I certainly didn’t know about these nuances, but whatever they call it I’m super excited! There were some colors in our palette that I thought were getting a little long in the tooth, and I’m in love with all of the colors that they are adding in.

For right now, the only thing that you can do is stock up on retiring colors that you’re going to miss. Here is an image so that you can easily identify the colors that you want to make sure that you have. There is one little correction that I want to make… the color Flirty Flamingo is returning (or is really “staying”) in the regular color collection as of June. So, you don’t have to prioritize that color if you’re lovin’ it. For all of the other colors I advise that you purchase your ink, ink refill, and cardstock ASAP. These items run out quickly and I would hate for you to be disappointed.

I personally am sad to say goodbye to a few favorite colors – Soft Sky, Island Indigo and Elegant Eggplant. As to Always Artichoke… I won’t miss that one at all. But that’s my preference, and you may feel very differently. I have definitely seen some wonderful creations with all of these colors, and I’m sure that every color has a true fan.

And, lest you feel bereft of color, I’ll show you the colors that we’ll be getting. You can’t really do anything with this information right now, but I wanted to show you the new colors so that you don’t freak out over the change. I’m impressed with the variety, and I’m very happy with the returning colors.

Please contact me if you want me to give you a catalog (once they are available). And… stay tuned for information on the In Color club that I’ll be offering featuring the five new In Colors. Please reach out if you would like general information now.
