Stampin’ Up! has announced the retirement list for the September – December Mini Catalog. However, this is NOT like past product retirements. Stampin’ Up! is changing their approach, and it’s starting this time around. It’s kind of a big change, and I’ll do my best to explain it simply.

  • Products that are retiring are listed in a section on the web site called “Last Chance Products”
  • This category will include catalog products and online exclusives – Paper Pumpkin is not included
  • There is no more Clearance Rack – those items are now included in the Last Chance Products
  • Items in the Last Chance category are available while supplies last
  • Some products will be discounted, but not all
  • Items will be identified for the Last Chance list every 2 months: February, April, June, August, October and December
  • Changes to discounts may happen on the same schedule that items are added to the Last Chance category
  • Items from a catalog that are not going on the Last Chance list will be found in the online store in the Online Exclusives area once the catalog period is over
  • You can view the Last Chance list here, or by clicking the image above

Whew – I know it’s a lot to absorb, and I hope it makes sense. There are some great products that are retiring and I hope you’ll check them out so you can get the items that you’ve been considering but hadn’t purchased yet. There are also some great deals on some of the retiring products, so please make sure to check them out. I’m personally sad to say goodbye to the Christmas Labels Bundle; I had hoped that they would create new sentiments to go with those cool dies. But alas, it is not to be. 😞

Earlier this week, Stampin’ Up! announced that they have 3 new packs of patterned paper that are available for anyone to purchase – while supplies last. This Special Release is interesting because they dug through the archives and picked three different patterned papers that they have “re-colored” in current colors. So if you think that they look a little familiar – you’re right! It’s kind of like digitally remastering some old classic movies. I know that doesn’t appeal to everyone, but hopefully in this context it will be loved by all. In case you’re wondering, here are the old papers and what the new ones are (convenient shopping links are below):
