How exciting that Meghan and Harry now have welcomed the newest Windsor to the world! Perhaps Meghan would appreciate this pretty card to celebrate her delivery. I know it’s not fancy, but perhaps she would like the handmade aspect. Oh well, I’ll never know.

Actually… this was one of the cards that the group made at the Stamp-A-Stack on Sunday. I try to design cards that aren’t too hard to assemble, but have a bit of sumthin’ sumthin’ so that the participants are excited by what they created. You may recognize the colors and images from the never ending card that I shared previously. I wanted to show off the pretty Share What You Love DSP, so that guided me in picking my color scheme. I do really like the pairing of Tranquil Tide and Mint Macaron. If you do too, then make sure to purchase those products (ink, paper, etc.) because that color is retiring at the end of this month (or when it sells out).

I used this sketch as the guide for designing my card. The rectangle piece is perfect for the stamped flower image in the Love What You Do stamp set. It was great to show the participants how easy it was to color the flower with the second stamp – so many of them thought that they would be watercoloring. Ta da – it is easy-peasy with stamps!
