It’s been a while since I’ve offered a stamping class, and it is about danged time. There is some backstory for my stamp class hiatus that I want to share. First, our church administrator resigned in August to take another job and I couldn’t reserve a room at the church to hold classes until a replacement was hired. Happily, we have a new church administrator which is great news for our church community! The second factor is the Delta variant. Over the recent weeks I’ve been shocked and dismayed about the rapid up-tick in COVID-19 positivity here in VT. I was hoping that it was a brief blip, but it just doesn’t seem to be improving right now. I’ve been struggling about what to do for classes in light of the current pandemic situation here. I finally decided that it makes sense to return to offering Class-to-Go classes to you. Several people have told me how much they really appreciate this option, and it is something that I can do while we all stay safe. I hope that things will improve and I’ll be able to see your smiling faces again (even if it’s with a mask), but for now this is the approach that I’m comfortable with.
I designed this class to show off the Intricate Leaves die cuts and the Stitched Greenery background die. I love the way that these elements come together for cards that are perfect for our current season. I think that we may be approaching peak foliage season in our corner of the state (we are a little later than some other areas), and we can re-create that look on some cards. I’ll pre-cut all of the dies for you, so you only need to stamp and assemble. For this class I used the Inspired Thoughts stamp set on page 52 of the Annual catalog. I think that this is one of the best greeting stamp sets that Stampin’ Up! has offered. There are stamps for so many occasions: sympathy, get well, Christmas, birthday, etc. I know that I’ll be reaching for this stamp set for lots of occasions! Here are the details for the class:
