I knew that I wanted to make a treat holder with the South Burlington stamp club group. But, I didn’t purchase any of the Halloween DSP from the Holiday catalog this year. Don’t get me wrong – it is super cute and the colors are fabulous. However, I didn’t let that stop me from creating this cute project using products from the main catalog. Using a color scheme and other accents allow me to make something that is clearly Halloween with products that aren’t specific to that holiday. I picked colors from a DSP pack from the 2017 Holiday catalog. Once I had that, then I just needed to find a DSP design from the main catalog as the basis for the holder.

I have a tip for you regarding the Petite Treats Framelits. I initially tried creating it with stamped cardstock, but I found that it is too thick to get the curved edges that you want. It fought me tooth and nail while putting it together and creased in spots that I didn’t want. Thankfully our DSP is thin enough to work well for this project and sturdy enough to hold up. And lots of our DSP papers have a single-color pattern on the “B” side, so you likely will find something that works for your project. And, the color-family stacks are perfect for the job!

The group seemed to enjoy creating these cute 3-D items, and we were happy to finish up the extra Hershey Kisses that didn’t go into the containers.
