Llama Christmas

I have been working on a small batch of these cards for ages. I started by stamping that cute llama and coloring him (or is it her?). I loved spending some time coloring 8 of those cute critters! I originally purchased the Long Time No See stamp set because I loved the wiener dog in it but the llama called to me for this card. The little doxie will surely be the feature on another card this year. Perhaps with a snowy background since he’s got a sweater? It will be a lot of fun coloring that short guy, too.

You will notice some elements on my card that aren’t from Stampin’ Up!™ and I wanted to share so that you realize that you can mix and match with the supplies that you have on hand. I pulled out a stencil from my stash to add the tone-on-tone look to the card base and foiled some strips using a foil machine for the diagonal element. Lastly, I pulled out a long-retired set of Oval dies for the greeting layer on the card. I love how the different items come together to add some interest to my card!
