This is one of the cards that I created for the 2015 In Color club participants. Each month they received a card featuring their "color of the month" – this one is using Mint Macaron. I wanted to share this today because I used a couple of fantastic products that are retiring at 11:50 pm Mountain time. And… I wanted to give a little nudge to see if you're interested in participating in the the 2016 In Color club.
First of all, let's review what's retiring on this card. I love this sentiment from the Hello Life stamp set, it is nice and big so it makes a fantastic focal point for a card. There are some great stamps in the set that can be used for many occasions, and you can readily use several for Valentine's Day cards. The other product that is retiring is this gorgeous Dotted Lace Trim. In the new catalog that debuts tomorrow (squeeee!) there is a new set of ribbons for the 2015-17 In Colors, so we are saying goodbye to these pretty lace trims.
I'm hoping to start up the 2016 In Color club in June of this year, and to be frank, I need a couple more people to sign up to make it work. The gals that participated last year really enjoyed getting their bag of color matched goodies each month and they appreciated building out their stash of colors and knowing that they had all the coordinating products for the colors. And, I think that they really appreciated getting to pick some free goodies when it was their month to be the "host" for the club.
