I took last week off from work – we get two days off for the 4th of July holiday, so I just added three more days so that I could have a whole week. I enjoyed a lovely stay-cation with no commitments. My hubby and son were working, so all I had to do was entertain myself; I stamped a TON and I LOVED my week! This is the second year that I've done this, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. I think that I may just have to make this a new tradition.
Last week part of my stamping fun was participating in an on-line "convention". This included lost of stamping (like the project shown here) and several classes to help me as a demonstrator. When I read the supply list for the class, I must confess that I was a little confused that a popsicle stick was listed. I learned very early what the purpose was with this card! I changed my card up a little bit from the original – the designer stamped several suns with the smaller stamp in the All About Sugar set, but I thought it would be better with a single, bigger sun. For that I used the starburst image from the Kinda Eclectic set. What do you think? Do you have fond memories of eating one of these "bomb" pops on a hot summer day when you were a kid?
