Stampin’ Up!™ has been communicating with demonstrators for months about this change, and it is finally here! The former Host Rewards program is ending and a new customer rewards program is replacing it. Starting today, every order over $20 will earn 10% back in rewards. This means that everyone can earn rewards and I’m super-excited that you all will get to enjoy this new program!
Here’s how it works:
- Create an account in my online store or log in if you already have one.
- Opt-in to the rewards program in the pop-up the first time you shop — starting today.
- Shop & Earn – Rewards will track and display every time you shop.
- Use Rewards when you shop or bank them. You control how you use your rewards.
- Rewards expire after 1 year. The system will automatically use your oldest rewards first.
Here are some examples that hopefully help explain how the program works:
- Stacey Stamper has $20 in rewards in her account. She shops online and has $50 in product in her cart. She redeems all of her rewards so her shopping total is $30. She pays that amount ($30) + shipping and tax (location dependent). She earns $3.00 in rewards on that $30 balance that she paid. The $3.00 will be available to redeem (or continue to save) the next time Stacey shops.
- Paula Papercrafter has $10 in rewards in her account. She shops online and has $40 in product in her cart. She decides not to redeem any rewards. Her shopping total is $40 + shipping and tax. She earns $4.00 in rewards that is added to her total, so her reward account has $14 that she can use for a future purchase.
- Sarah Scrapper has $5 in rewards that she earned on April 16 2025. She has additional rewards that she earned and saved over several shopping sessions. Sarah never redeemed her rewards and her total is $65. Sarah then shops on April 20 2026 (over a year after her first rewards were earned), and her rewards balance is now $60 because the original $5 rewards were expired. Don’t be Sarah!
- Nancy None doesn’t like having online accounts for various reasons. She doesn’t want companies to have her information. Nancy decided not to opt-in to the rewards program. That is absolutely fine – Stampin’ Up! recognizes that people may have a preference here. Nancy can still shop without opting in but she won’t accumulate rewards.
- Lucy Luddite doesn’t want to create an account – she’s not comfortable shopping online. I can still place orders for Lucy BUT she cannot use her credit card. She will have to pay me with a check before I can place her order.
Hopefully those examples are clarifying and not overwhelming!
Note: The Stampin’ Up! site will be down for several hours today starting at 10:00 am Eastern to make the updates needed for the changes to the new Rewards program.
Here are some easy shopping links that you can use to find some great stuff. There are a lot of products in the Last Chance list as the company works to empty shelves of retiring product to make room for new products that will be available on May 6th. Some of the last chance items are discounted quite a bit – I encourage you to check it out!
