Birthday Bear

I created this card during the recent online crafting event that I attended. This group definitely loves fun folds, and I love learning new ones. They even have an early-bird extra featuring fun folds that they give to folks that sign up in the first couple of days. This card is one of the regular class projects. I haven’t done any of the “extra” fun folds yet, but if/when I do I’ll be sure to share them them here.

This card features side panels that open and a center mini card that also opens. The coolest part of this card is that there are lots of panels where you can add some great patterned paper. For my project I used two different designs of the Timeless Plaid paper. I am still absolutely loving this paper that’s in the January – April mini catalog. Even if you don’t have this particular paper, there are lots of great papers from Stampin’ Up!™ that you can use for lots of different looks.

For my card I used the Fluffiest Friends stamp set and coordinating dies. The dies have been retired and are available for a huge discount on the Last Chance list. For this card I featured two of the cute animals on the front and the inside. They are just so stinkin’ cute! If you’re curious about the holographic confetti stars that you see on my card, they are a non-Stampin’ Up! item that I purchased on Amazon. There are a TON of them in the bag, so I have a lifetime supply. 😉
