This card is almost an exact CASE of a card from a lovely fellow UK based demonstrator named Jan B. I changed up the color scheme a little as well as the patterned papers, but the stamped and punched flowers are inspired by her original. And of course, I replicated her Double-Z fold layout. I watched her YouTube video to learn how to make this card, and you can find it quite easily with a search. I picked the color scheme and made this card to show my stamp club gals this cute card design. One of the women took the design and made a masculine retirement card featuring fish instead of the flowers on the front section of the small Z – she said that he Loved it!
I went to my favorite color challenge site and found this cool color combination. I think I was looking for a combo that used Turquoise, but I'm not 100% sure. I actually created this card a couple of months ago so I'm a little foggy on the details. Happily all of the products that I used are still available so I can share it here – and you can replicate it if you want to.
I just put together the product list for this card and I remembered laughing with the ladies about the massive number of different products that we used for this card. Five – count 'em – five – stamp sets! Three different Framelits sets and two different punches. Based on the picture you may be wondering why the stamp set Cottage Greetings is on the list. I used one of the greetings from the set on the middle panel that you can't see because it's on the section that faces into the center of the card. If you had to start from scratch to make this card you might have to take out a home equity loan to purchase all of the supplies! Thankfully I've acquired the various products over time, so I had all of the supplies available without breaking the bank. The gals appreciated that it was actually pretty easy to put together, and you can adapt it to use punches, paper and stamps that you have already. I definitely encourage you to give this card design a try!
