As I’m writing this post early in the morning it is 56° outside as the sun is starting to come out. There’s a crispness to the air and the days are definitely shortening. This all means that we’re heading into Fall, and I absolutely love creating with Fall colors. I think part of that may be because my first-ever stamping event that I attended many, many years ago was in the Fall and we used the All Natural stamp set with Fall colors for all of the projects. Maybe I imprinted on Fall colors like a baby bird, and that’s why I love them. 😉
This card features a couple of Online Exclusive items: the Changing Leaves bundle and the Gold & Silver 1/8″ Trim Combo Pack. I think that these all go together perfectly with the Fall colors that I chose. It’s easy to forget about the Online Exclusives so I encourage you to check them out here. There are some amazing products that you can only find online. One thing that you can’t tell from the picture is the little specks of gold on the blended background. I pulled out my retired Gold Wink of Stella brush to flick small specks of glimmer that adds a little something extra to the card.
This current challenge was the inspiration for my card. I followed the first column: Leaves / Ink Blending / Multiples. I’m a total sucker for Leaf stamps and dies, so this was totally up my alley. The option of “Multiples” gives lots of room for interpretation. I decided that my collection of leaves – stamped and diecut – qualifies as “Multiple”.
Lovely Fall card, Andrea. The background is so beautifully blended! Thanks for sharing it at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.
Thanks so much Rosanne – I had a lot of fun with this challenge!
