This is a card that I made with my stamp club gals last month, but it will be timely whenever Brad and Angelina manage to tie the knot. Seriously, who can keep up with their current plans/marital status?
I am not an accomplished watercolorer, but I was pleased enough with the results in this card. The images in the stamp set that I used are perfect for watercoloring, and they are small enough that I don't find it too intimidating. I think that the International Bazaar paper really gives this card its punch. And a nice little surprise? I stamped the image on the watercolor paper and then cut it out using the Clearlit die. The watercolor paper compressed around the edges creating a bit of a raised frame effect around the stamped image; very cool! If you look closely at the picture, you see it best along the bottom below the words.
I used the following materials to make this card:
- Stamps: Easy Events
- Ink: Staz-On Black
- Cardstock: Old Olive, Pacific Point
- Accessories: International Bazaar DSP, Rich Razzleberry 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon, Brights Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Large Scallop Edgelit, Scallop Rectangle Clearlit, Aqua Painters, Watercolor Paper
