Making Strides card
Back in October, a friend and I hosted a card-making event as a team fund raiser for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. I wasn't blogging then, but I thought I would pull it out and share it with you now. This was one of three cards that the participants made at the event. This was probably the most complicated of the three, but it really isn't that hard to make. All of the participants enjoyed each of the projects, and we had a raffle of various items that people could "bid" on with tickets. Here are the card details:
- Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes, Woodgrain
- Ink: Early Espresso
- Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobber, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
- Punches: Scallop Edge, Decorative Label, Corner Rounder
- Accessories: Cherry Cobbler seam binding
I think it was a very successful event, and I hope to repeat it again this year. If you are interested in joining us this year (we're in the Burlington VT area), sign up for my Newsletter and you'll see it when it is announced. I hope to see you there!
