I made this card ~9 months ago, and I’m finally getting around to sharing it. I lost track of it in a stack of projects, and just re-discovered it yesterday. The patterned paper and one of the colors that I used are retired now, but it’s so pretty that I still wanted to share it with you. The person that taught this card (it was in an on-line event) called it a Bridge Pop-Out card. I have no idea if that’s a standard term for it, or if that is her name. What I really love about this card is that it has lots of panels so you can show off different patterns in gorgeous patterned paper. There are so many gorgeous papers in the Stampin’ Up! store, and so many of them would be great for this card.

This is the inside of the card. You can see some of the beautiful paper and the white panel for a note. If you need more space you could write on the back of the card. I’m still amazed at how pretty this paper is, and I’m bummed that it isn’t available any more.

When I saw the images for the project I knew right away that I wanted to use the Translucent Florals bundle with the coordinating paper. This project was one of those times when the finished project was exactly what I had envisioned before I started cutting and inking. It doesn’t happen all the time, and I have to say that I love it when it does!

This picture shows how the bridge panel extends out with a couple of extra spots for paper. It is really quite special in person. The Calypso Coral cardstock that you see on the far left of the card is the mat for the stamped panel that you can see on the front.
