I can’t resist a coffee stamp set and when the Online Exclusives were released in March I knew that I had to have this set, too. I used the stamps and dies for this card, but I bought the full Little Latte Suite so I could have the great coordinating products. You can see the full suite here. Isn’t it just amazing? The patterned paper is lovely, and the dies coordinate to cut the top view of the cups on one of the sheets. I love it when they do that – coordinate dies with the paper. It’s great if I want a colorful image but don’t want to take the time to color myself.

Here is the inside of my card. I used the die that I mentioned coordinates with the paper, but this time I stamped the latte and colored the mug. I haven’t cut into the designer series paper yet. I also wanted to color so I could use my Tahitian Tide Blends. I’m really going to miss this color when it retires at the end of this month. I love the pop of turquoise and it was great to have it back in our color collection for the last 2 years.

This sketch challenge was the inspiration for my card design. I used standard card dimensions rather than a square card because I don’t typically create square cards. I’m frugal by nature and a standard card size is best for minimizing waste for the cardstock that I used for the card base. Of course I can (and do) use scraps for other projects but I typically do the standard card size.

How about you? Do you create square cards or are you like me and stick to standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ dimensions?
