I’ve been sending cards to people to hopefully brighten their day. This is something that I’ve done during Lent for several years now. This year, I’m continuing to send cards after Easter to share some card love with people while we are staying home en masse. I made a few of this card to add to my available cards for this purpose, and to have another crafting time with some supplies that are retiring. I even pulled out retired ribbon that is currently available on the Clearance Rack!
I used this sketch challenge for layout inspiration; and I immediately thought of the Peaceful Poppies Elements for the circular element of this card. I shifted the location of the sentiment, but that was really the only thing that I changed much from the sketch.
I also used this challenge for design inspiration, too. I used the elements in the middle column as a guide for my card design. I immediately thought of the beautiful Peaceful Poppies Suite when considering this design. I’m going to be very sad when these pretty papers are gone, they are gorgeous and I have really enjoyed creating with them.
