The Butterflies Thinlets are available again! I know some of you have been wanting to purchase these for a while now, and they were made unavailable because Stampin' Up! didn't have a clear delivery date for them. Well, I am very happy to report that "the butterflies have landed" in Utah! The dies and the bundle of the dies with the coordinating stamp set are now available again. Woo Hoo! And since we couldn't order them for much of the Sale-A-Bration period, Stampin' Up! is offering us an incentive if we buy them during the month of April. If you purchase the dies along, you can buy them for 15% off the listed price. The bundle of the dies and the stamp set are already discounted 15% which is a great deal that isn't being further discounted. BUT – instead, Stampin Up! is allowing you to pick a free gift among three Sale-A-Bration choices if you purchase the bundle. The options are:

  • Best Year Ever DSP
  • Best Year Ever Accessory Pack
  • Irresistably Yours DSP

Since we can get the Irresistably Yours paper again, I decided to share this card that we created at the last stamp club meeting. The stamp set is still available because it is from the Occasions catalog, but the beautiful paper I used for the background was one of the free Sale-A-Bration choices. The great news is that you can still get this paper if you purchase the Butterfly bundle from the Occasions catalog. We colored the background by applying three different colors of ink using sponges. The paper has resist images that won't take the ink, so they just pop right out once you've added some color. Isn't it just go-juss?!?

The card layout was inspired by the sketch shown to the right. You've seen me blather on before about how awesome these sketches are, so I won't do that here. Let's just say that I was happy to get to use another one. wink I wanted the color on the background to pop, so I stuck with a simple black mat for the layers to give some contrast.
