Super easy peasy

With MDS

This beautiful 9 1/4" x 4" postcard is a digital template that is available for My Digital Studio (MDS).  MDS is a digital crafting software package that is available from Stampin' Up!  This software was released a couple of years ago now, and it has had a couple of updates that have made the software even more fantastic.  The most recent update added templates for calendars which make it super easy to create a calendar for any year.  I've already started on my calendar for 2012, and the new template is making my job much easier.

But I digress…  Stampin' Up! also releases new digital downloads almost every week, so there's always new stuff coming out.  The downloads will frequently include a template in addition to the contents, and they are a fantastic jump start to your creativity.  Or, as in the case with this postcard, it is absolutely perfect as it is.  I'll let you in on a secret – I didn't do a thing to this postcard.  I wanted to show you how simple it can be to create a stunning card with MDS with little or no effort.  The only drawback is that I can't tell you which download I purchased to get this template.  Believe me, I researched for almost an hour before I gave up.  I've purchased several downloads, and once you have the items installed into MDS, you can't see which download gave you the goodies that you find.  I can tell you that the stamp set (or digital brush) used for the sleigh and AirMail text are in a stamp set called Old Saint Nick that is included with the MDS software.

I'll be making future posts with samples I've created with MDS.  And, I won't stick with just cards either.  You'll see some scrapbook pages, calendar pages, tags and maybe even a digital video.  So, stay tuned for more digital "stuff".
