I haven't posted here for a while because my husband and I were on vacation last week. We had a wonderful time camping at Half Moon Pond State Park in Hubbardton, VT. We timed our 4 days there absolutely perfectly to optimize the great weather before the cold, damp weather arrived. While we were away, something really exciting happened… Our son Josh started his internship at Holo Labs in Montréal! One of his main purposes for studying in Montréal for the semester was to complete his internship requirement with a company in his industry, which would likely be much harder to complete in Burlington. I'm gonna send this card to him to congratulate him on this big accomplishment.
This card is very simple to put together, but the cool thing is that the layout is perfect for a 3×4" card in a Project Life by Stampin' Up! card collection. I was playing around with a card collection yesterday putting cards in pockets in the pages and I was amazed again at how fantastic many of these cards would also be as an element in a card, too. There are several card collections available now, so I encourage you to check them out in my on-line store to see the variety. There is a set in the Holiday Mini catalog that is great for fall with school and different holiday images/phrases.
