bordering bloomsThis is one of the cards that I created for the In Color club participants. I wanted to share this now because a couple of the items that I used are retiring, and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to possibly inspire you to grab these products before they are gone. Each of the cards that I created for the participants featured one of the colors from the 2015-2017 In Color group. This one is probably the hardest to find the In Color that is featured. The mat, part of the greeting and the outer part of the flowers are Cucumber Crush. This color has such a high saturation that I find that it can be a little overpowering. Don't get me wrong, it is a great color. You just need to take care to make sure that it doesn't overwhelm other colors used on a project.

Happily, the colors and sentiment stamps that I used for this project aren't retiring. The flower stamps across the bottom and the cotton ribbon are on the retirement list. The different stamps in the Bordering Blooms are a fantastic way to create a pretty, stamped border on a card. Also, since they are photopolymer stamps it is easy-peasy to line up the images to stamp where you want them to go. I regret that I haven't given more time to this stamp set – it really is a great asset in a stamping tool chest. As to the ribbon, I can't say enough great things about this cotton ribbon. This ribbon is so soft and easy to work with, and it is available in lots of colors. I hope that you have an opportunity to get these great products before they are gone forever.
