I created this card back in early November as one of the possible designs for the Curvy Christmas Class-to-Go that I offered. I remember creating this card while hanging out with my good friend Heather and joining the Stampin’ Up! OnStage OnLine event. She set up a great space so that we could be creating while physically distanced and the weather was fabulous that weekend so we could have windows opened for fresh air. It was a wonderful couple of days, and the timing was perfect because shortly after that Gov. Scott asked us to limit time with people outside of our household. That time with my great friend has helped sustain me during our more locked-down time for the last 1 1/2 months.

Late yesterday afternoon I went to our local quilt shop for some supplies and I was talking about Christmas plans (or rather, different-than-usual Christmas plans) with the gal who cut my fabric. She will be enjoying celebrating this year with her son and daughter-in-law who have been overseas for a few years and she couldn’t see over the Holidays. So she is super-excited to be spending time with them this year! I shared that I’m excited that our son is home because we haven’t seen him since March when he shortened his spring break visit and rushed back to school right before the pandemic lock-down started. There are many traditions that we won’t have this Christmas, but at least our son is home, which is the best gift. At the quilt shop we were talking about recognizing that there have been some good things in 2020, there has been plenty of bad to be sure, but we have these little gems that stand out and it’s good to cherish those times to keep us going. So, enjoying time with my son over the last two weeks of 2020 and reminiscing about crafting with my friend are a couple of the recent special times for me. What special times in 2020 are sustaining you this year?

The Quite Curvy Variety Bundle will no longer be available on January 4th, so if you want these limited-edition Christmas stamps and the paper stack, don’t delay any longer to order them. The Quite Curvy bundle will still be available because it is in the January – June mini catalog. The stamps and papers are classics, so you can enjoy creating Holiday cards with them for next year. It’s always great to get a head-start to avoid a crunch late in the year.
