The stamp club gals made this card a couple of months ago. This one is a matchbook-style card, so it won't stand up on its own. But – this difference sets it apart from "regular" cards. Because I used black for the card base there is a stamped white layer on the inside with a greeting and plenty of space to add your own wish.
I love these detailed Santa dies, and I will be very sad to see them go. They were the very first product that drew my eye when I was flipping through the Holiday catalog for the first time. I found plenty of other things to love, but I was definiitely drawn to "the big guy".
Speaking of seeing them go – Stampin' Up! has posted the retirement list for the Holiday catalog, and some of those items are on sale. At the same time they added some items to the Clearance Rack, and they have discounted some items from the regular catalog that they have excess inventory for.
