I designed this card for a church hands-on mission project that we’ve done for several years now. Many groups come together to create items to go in Easter baskets that are brought to shut-ins that aren’t able to come to church. Youth members create an art project (it’s different each year), another member grows some flowers, we shop for crossword or word search books, and other items have differed over the years. My contribution each year is a handmade card. I design the card an prepare the materials, and get together with the Women’s Spirituality group to assemble them. This is the card that we made this year, and the Women’s Spirituality gals thought this was the best one yet (they are so sweet). We have figured out an assembly line system so that we can get these cards finished in record time. Which leaves us time to assemble the baskets and socialize.
I used some supplies from a local craft store because I wanted to make sure that I had plenty of a designer paper to mass produce the cards. I was happy to find this gorgeous watercolor look paper in the racks, and I love how it all comes together. The stamp set and dies are a Stampin’ Up! bundle from the Occasions catalog. They really are a gorgeous set that is very versatile if you are looking for some Christian stamps.
Happy Easter!
