This card is a celebration of a few items that are Online Exclusives. Other than the ink and cardstock, you won’t find any of these products in a catalog. The beautiful patterned paper and sequins are part of the Flowering Zinnias suite and the stamp set is a stand-alone product (not part of a bundle or suite). I absolutely fell in love with the script font in the sentiment stamp set and I knew I had to order it right away. I have shared another project with this set that you can see here. Apparently I like to use these stamps on an angled strip of paper! 😉Anyhow, I really like the pairing of this particular sentiment with the bright and cheerful zinnia paper. It will surely lift the spirits of someone that is recovering from surgery or an illness.
This current sketch challenge was the inspiration for my card design. This is one of those times for me where the card flowed very easily from the sketch. I knew right away that I wanted to use the Sweetly Scripted stamp set for the sentiment because they are lovely and have some length to the image. I considered some different patterned papers and very quickly decided on the bright flowers from the Flowering Zinnias paper. Sadly that paper is currently unavailable, but I hope that it will be back in stock real soon. The paper is so colorful and perfect for late Spring cards. I hope you’ll give it a look when it’s available again!
